Getting smart with Blogger

Rosa canina (Dog Rose)Although some students are still dragging their heels over this (mainly the landscape architects), most have now made a good start and those that have are posting more than the suggested minimum (this is good).

Of course, there are always exceptions in heel-dragging competitions and in this case, I must note that unlike most of the landscape students, Rachel Goodwin has now embarked on a quest to record a daily inventory of all things er, "Rachel". As an old fogey, I have some difficulty with the txt speak but hey, I can deal with that.

Now is about the time that you may be wondering how to take more control of your blog. For example, you may want to know how to change or add to the link list. Don't forget that there are some very good help articles at Blogger. See this article if you want to know how to work with your links. You'll find links to that article and many others at the Blogger Help page. My guess is that ultimately, you'll also want to customise your template, as I have. The help section will give you some pointers in that direction as well although some of the templates are quite complex and at least a basic understanding of HTML and CSS is required.
