Anti-Spam Disaster

I asked all of the students to email their blog address to me by the end of this week (today) and I was just about to have a moan that I'd only received 22 out of a possible 36 or 38. Then I noticed something rather peculiar with my email. A couple of emails I saw in my Greenwich webmail inbox never made it to my Outlook inbox. Naturally, I at first blamed the Greenwich mail server, then I realised that it was all (well, mostly) my fault. Outlook was automatically deleting spam emails before they reached my inbox. Just why some innocent emails from students were treated like this I have no idea. Maybe I'd ticked the "troublesome student" option in the spam settings dialogue box. Anyway, the upshot is that I've lost a number of emails from students with their blog addresses. I have now turned off this feature, so I should get any future emails. So, assuming you are reading this...

If you do not see your name in the list of student blogs on the right, please email them to me again. Apologies to those of you for whom this may be the third time of trying. Hey, no one said I was perfect.

david,

this happens to me when I send emails to the students if the number of recipients is more than 10, as I copy to the whole cohort of 35 I have to be in each of their address books or the emails are treated as spam
